Guided meditations are SO helpful, especially when you are just starting out and aren’t really sure what the heck you’re doing.
Take it from the girl who tried to begin a meditation practice for 4 years (you can read about that fiasco here) guided meditations easily become your best friend!
But before you think you can just exit out of this post and find your own guided meditations, let me warn you…there are some pretty CREEPY voices out there recording these guided meditations.
There is nothing more distracting than trying to meditate while hearing the voice of a man who questionably might be your 11th grade physics teacher. (I got a C- in physics because my teacher had a monotone voice and I would routinely fall asleep during 5th period.)
So trust your girl when I say that these have all been tested and received a stamp of approval.
No creepy or monotone voices here!
Oh! And how could I forget the BEST part?!
All of these meditation are 10 minutes or LESS!
When I first began meditating, I had this preconceived notion that meditation meant that I would have to give up an hour out of my day.
I mean you totally can – there are days where I meditate 2-3 times for 20 minutes each. But that’s not practical and can be really intimidating when you’re first starting out.
10 minutes every day will definitely have you feeling the effects of meditation in NO TIME.
So close your eyes, take a deep breath, get comfortable and enjoy!
